63. VinaÆs name is meant to sound like "Wienerschnitzel," the fast food chain.
64. This is one of those, "WeÆre filling out the lip sync" joke lines, although Seishun Shitemasu did it better in \bRanma 1/3,\b with the line, "ItÆs not politically correct to go around shouting pro-Nazi slogans and stuff and junk and stuff."
65. In \bRobotech,\b the Vermillion Squadron always took the heaviest pounding in battle.
66. Again from \bRobotech,\b this message is sent to Lisa from Rick in his Veritech in Morse code using a flashing light. LisaÆs on-the-fly translation is far too long and fast to have been communicated in Morse code. In the script, Jerry was going to clip in LisaÆs voice, saying "Oh, Rick!"
67. General Laurels was scripted to have said "None!" instead of "Shweet-haht," but the Humphrey Bogart lisp suggested the latter. Unfortunately, Colonel HeartyÆs line overlaps it, making it difficult to hear sometimes. Their names are multi-layered jokes in themselves. Their full names are General Lee Restingonhis Laurels and Colonel Schicken Eets Hearty.
68. The falling sign says "coffee" on it, only visible for a frame or two.
69. This line was scripted as: "There it is û the mothership!" but all the "mothership" references were dropped during the actual recording.
This and the following line are from \bSpace Ace,\b the LD "video game" animated by Don Bluth. This type of "memorize and obey" game started with \bDragonÆs Lair,\b also by Bluth, and had a few variations before generally dying out. BluthÆs animation was neat, though. Neither of us are sure whether the "Close main gates" line is accurate, but it seems as good a guess as any.
70. These two lines are meant to imply that Yen-Zero is getting transported to the mothership along with Vina, explaining her presence later.
71. This is the first line by Jana Durham as Maki. In the script, she says, "Oh no! Hey Lita Caesar, theyÆve kipnapped Vina! WeÆve got to rescue her or sheÆll break out in zits!" Somewhere along the line, the phrase "grease vapour" got thrown in (which she misread in several takes as "greasy vapour"), bringing the number of occurances of that phrase up to four.
72. In the script, although Maki \bdoes\b say, "Are you coming?" LitaÆs response was the less suggestive line, "YouÆre going after the \bmothership?"\b
73. "You old sourpuss" is another \bRobotech\b reference (something Rick, and subsequently Roy, said about Lisa). The script did not include this joke. It is unknown why anyone would put emphasis on the word "alabaster" in this line.
74. This line, until the inclusion of the "old sourpuss" line, was scripted as "But thatÆs the-- Oh, who cares? Hey, wait up!" and prior to that was, "You like me! You really like me!" but the latter was dropped because it didnÆt match her expression. This line and "YouÆre not listening to me" appear to be the height of TammyÆs voice-acting skills.
75. In the video for "IÆm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred (probably the only piece of music not to be credited in the end credits), the singer struts around in various modeling stances, including the olÆ hand behind the head, as Biglips does here.
